HOW TO GET HERE
We’ve chosen to get married in London because it’s one of our favorite cities in the world, and because we both spent formative years growing up there (for Clayton it was 13 years, for Audrey a mere 1&½ …. guess which one of them adopted the accent though!)
We know that many of you are coming from abroad, and as you begin thinking through your travel, we want to thank you for making the trip. Below are a few tips to make your journey as painless as possible:
Although London has several airports, we recommend flying into London Heathrow (LHR), or London Gatwick (LGW)
If possible, we recommend avoiding London Luton and London Stansted as they’re quite far from West London, where our events and suggested hotels are located.
For those who fly into LHR and don’t want to Uber, there’s a convenient train to Paddington station that takes ~25 mins.
If you would like assistance with flight bookings or airport transfers, please contact our wedding planners at audreyandclayton@lizlinkleter.com who will be happy to assist you.
Important
For those of us traveling from the USA, a visa is required. Please check how to apply for an Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA) directly on the UK Government’s website here. The easiest way to apply is through the British Government’s official app, which you can find here. Please kindly note, processing typically takes three days.
